How it works
You predict every match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, from the group stage through the final. You earn points for the predictions you get right, and everyone in your pool is ranked by total points at the end of the tournament.
Pools
When you sign up, you're automatically added to the Global Pool, which contains every user of the site. To compete against a smaller group — your office, your friends — create a private pool on the Pools page and share the invite code.
You can be in as many pools as you want. Your picks are the same everywhere — joining more pools just means more leaderboards to show up on.
The group stage
48 teams are divided into 12 groups of 4. Each team plays the other three in its group once — 6 matches per group, 72 in total. For each match: predict the winner, or a draw.
After picking all 6 matches in a group, you'll see a predicted standings table. If teams are tied on points, drag them into the order you think they'll actually finish (FIFA tiebreakers here, but you can just think "who will play better" and you'll be fine).
The third-place teams
The top two teams from each group advance automatically to the Round of 32. The remaining 8 spots go to the 8 best third-place finishers across all groups, based on points and then tiebreakers.
After all 12 groups are predicted, a table below ranks your third-place teams by points. The top 8 advance to the Knockout Stage. You can drag and drop to choose which ones make it through.
The knockout stage
Single elimination. Tap the team you think will win each match, and the next round fills in automatically with your picks. Keep going through the Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final. Your last tap is your predicted champion.
Scoring
Every correct prediction earns points. Later rounds are worth more.
Given the fluid structure of the Knockout Stage matchups, you could end up with the right teams in the "wrong" places. Don't worry about it too much, just pick the teams you think will advance through each round of the tournament. You get points for every correct team advancing to each round.
Said differently, if you picked Brazil to win their Round of 32 match and Brazil did win their actual Round of 32 match, you get the 2 points. No matter if you had the matchup wrong.
Deadline
All picks lock when the tournament kicks off: Thursday, June 11, 2026, 3:00 PM ET. You can change picks freely until then.
